House by Narwia River

The project of a modern family log-house by Narwia river derives from the Scandinavian aesthetic. Copper turned out to be key part of the concept as it’s been used throughout the interior including bespoke hammered copper cabinets and the railings on the stairway. A variety of other materials highlights interior’s minimalist character. Concrete floors, granite counter tops, and dyed oak veneer create an elegant, harmonious flow between the rooms. In the kitchen and the bathroom, we’ve used rare tiles sourced from a small Italian manufacturer who uses traditional techniques to obtain their mat surface and colour.
